May has always been right there at the top of the list for me. There’s the end of school and the start of summer vacay, beautiful blooming flowers and the first melting ice cream cones. BUT it just got a little bit better with another reason to love it.
Sherwin Williams announced the Color of the Month of May 2018 is Exuberant Pink! Fuschia meets hot pink meets red. My friends, it’s almost the very pink I have accented ALL over this house and it’s a fantastic color to add a punch to any part of your space.
It’s beautiful! It might be a little more berry than some of my pops of pink but I would absolutely use this color on walls or even a ceiling. (Check out the SW link above to see it on the walls!) Temper it with soft mint, navy, black or white and you have a bold sophisticated yet fun space. Here are a few ways I have used this color!
Here I’ve got pops of it in the suzani and the accent pillow.
Here it is in the chairs and rug of our schoolroom/office space.
And here (before I swapped out for more muted colors this spring) I have pillows that pick up the color in the rug.
As you can see I have been a big fan of this color for quite awhile, so I was ecstatic to see that Sherwin Williams is embracing and celebrating it too! Give it a go in the form of an accent pillow or break out the big brushes for a full on paint sesh. It pops, it’s happy and it’s worth dipping your toe into!
Have you used this color? If so where and how?! What do you think of it? I always love to hear from ya! Hit me up in the comments and don’t forget to subscribe to this lil blogspot over in the sidebar!
