Given it’s a whole new year, and I know that we all have some big (or small) goals we want to reach, I thought it would be fun to give myself some visual reminders. You know for those times when it’s a rough road and you’re feeling less than motivated.
This is a SUPER simple 5 minute DIY that cost me less than $30 total! (It could be free if you used some frames and paper you already had on hand)
I went and picked up some frames at Home Goods and a book of printed paper at Joann’s (with a 50% off coupon!)
Some cute little frames, a giant book of paper and some dry erase markers!
I went ahead and picked out some cute backgrounds and cut the paper to fit by using the frame templates as a guide.
Here are 4 of my frames with the paper backgrounds! I might change the dotted one but we’ll see, right now I kinda like it!
I then picked out some of my favorite motivational quotes off of Pinterest and wrote them on the glass in dry erase markers!
This way when I want to switch up the sayings, I just wipe it off and write something new!
Oh yeah, it’s good to have reminders sometimes. Let’s beat 2019 down shall we biotches!
Here they are all on my desk, I plan to put them around in strategic places. One on the nighstand so I see it when I wake up, one on the bathroom counter, one in the kitchen and a couple in the office. A reminder, to push me toward my goals and help me move past any obstacles. The extra awesome thing is that my kids will also read these, and I want them to feel the same way about themselves.
What do you think? Do you need reminders when you’re feeling that lack of motivation? Or when you run into an obstacle? I most definitely do, it keeps me going and fuels my deeper desire to reach those goals!
